We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software projects through both automation and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and mentoring to ensure high-quality testing practices.
2. Develop and implement automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
3. Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and other issues.
4. Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software features and functionality.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
6. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and strategies.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing technologies to enhance the overall testing process.
8. Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders, including project managers and developers.
9. Provide technical support and assistance to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in a team lead role.
3. Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Cucumber).
4. Proficient in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
5. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
10. Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
