Assistant Manager Warehouse

Position: Assistant Manager Warehouse (2 Positions)

Reporting to: Senior Manager Warehouse

Division: Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location: Karachi - Pakistan

Job Summary:

This role involves overseeing all activities related to receiving, storing, and handling materials. It includes maintaining a constant check on received quantities and ensuring that checklists and quarantine labels are affixed according to SOP. Additionally, the role is responsible for preparing GRNs and MRRs for raw and packaging materials received daily, posting all released MRRs in the system, following up on the physical transfer of released materials, and preparing GRNs both manually and through the system.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Follow up with purchase / Imports / Planning for documents related to the incoming raw & packaging materials
2. Ensure arrangement of raw/packaging materials as per their designated locations
3. Maintain logbook of receiving, balance & area cleaning
4. Maintain the temperature record of the warehouse
5. Keep vigilance over expiry date items & ensure consumption as far as possible before the date
6. Ensure neat & clean arrangement of Raw / Packaging materials in the entire warehouse storage area & maintain good housekeeping, GMP, safety, industrial hygiene
7. Review stock position of all stock items & inform shortfall/excesses, if any, to warehouse manager or senior immediately
8. Ensure daily checking & standardization of weighing scales / balances & maintain the record up to date and perform stock count

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

1. Pharm D / MBA in Supply Chain
2. 4-5 years’ experience in the same capacity
3. Proficient in MS Office
4. Flexible and capable of performing well in high-stress situations
