Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technological direction of RSVP. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, lead our development teams, and align our technology strategy with business goals. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a growing company in the online dating space.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Oversee the development and maintenance of our platform using modern technologies, including Node.js, MongoDB, JavaScript, React Native, GraphQL, AWS, Redis, and WordPress.
• Strategic Vision: Define and execute the technical strategy to support RSVP’s growth, ensuring it aligns with broader business objectives.
• Team Management: Build and lead a small team of developers, designers, and a digital marketing manager, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth.
• Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring efficient execution of initiatives and high-quality results.
• Product Innovation: Drive product improvements by staying ahead of industry trends and implementing new technologies to enhance platform performance and user experience.
• Operational Management: Manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between technical teams, internal stakeholders, and customers, ensuring clear, effective communication across all parties.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CTO, General Manager, or in a similar leadership role within a tech-driven organization.
• Deep technical expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, JavaScript, React Native, Apollo GraphQL, AWS, Redis, and WordPress.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalable architecture, and mobile application development.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and growth.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving and driving innovation.
• Experience in the online dating or social networking space is a plus, but not required.
