Controls Engineer

Fully onsite

Position Description:

• Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up on machinery projects and installations.
• Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems.
• Update program backups for machinery.
• Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems.
• Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements.

Skills Required:

• Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (Siemens and/or Indramat PL7).
• Electrical background (electrician or technician).
• Familiarity with Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives, VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, and network/Ethernet controls.
• 2+ years of related controls and debug experience.

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
