ROLE PURPOSE
The Product Manager will be responsible for providing full support to the VP - Products in devising, maintaining, and building a product strategy in the consumer domain for mobile or fixed. The Product Manager will manage consumer and SMEs products, ensuring the implementation of new products that are competitive on price, features, and customer experience, while delivering solid gross margins and managing the value proposition.
The Product Manager will ensure that existing products align with the latest industry trends, remain competitive, and are profitable. They will manage and develop products based on different customer segments and their specific needs.
The Product Manager shall present product overviews, compare with the latest trends, provide high-level technical design, product sizing, and architecture, and train Awasr's salesforce. They will also support the development of relationships between Awasr and customers by working closely with the sales team, developing upsell products, and additional service offerings within their portfolio.
Key focus areas include Gross profit, Value proposition, Competitive mapping, Business cases, Customer journeys, Terms and conditions, Product features, USPs, Product development, Product management, Analytics on product performance, Product description documents, and collaboration with Marketing for product catalogues.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Accountabilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of consumer products for consumers and SMEs.
- Provide sales support by evangelizing product architecture, identifying new business requirements, and developing Awasr's consumer product roadmap.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define a product strategy that meets customer needs.
- Ensure the leadership team has full visibility of portfolio progress to provide strategic support when needed.
- Negotiate a favorable environment for portfolio growth in terms of content richness, capability, and customer reference.
- Collaborate with development teams to explain requirements for new features and change requests.
- Ensure development teams uphold world-class quality in the product.
- Lead competitor analysis, market analysis, product analysis, business cases, product evolution, and feature prioritization.
- Motivate customer-facing teams to be ambassadors for the portfolio.
- Attend vendor training and workshops to stay updated on new technologies and products.
- Contribute to the Continual Service Improvement of managed services and solutions sales for customers.
- Ensure infrastructure architecture meets ISO27001 and PCI standards, collaborating with the Awasr security team as needed.
- Participate in new product development activities and technical performance reviews.
- Work alongside the project manager in product delivery to the market.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to build effective Go-to-Market strategies.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role within the telecom industry for graduates.
- 5-7 years of experience for post-graduates.
Sector of Previous Experience
- Customer experience, sales, product development.
Language Requirements for Role
- English mandatory.
Key Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced level PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to use data and insight in decision making.
- Self-starter capable of identifying problems and evaluating solutions.
- Deep knowledge of service delivery across internal functions and strategic partners.
