Procurement Director - Muscat - OQ

This role is responsible for overseeing contracts and procurement under OQ Alternative Energy VP Finance scope.

The successful candidate will act as a key focal point with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), building networks, and providing market insight to achieve positive supplier performance and support business value.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships with key OEMs and contractors in the renewable energy market.
• Direct and preside over building and retaining capabilities within Procurement and Contracts function.
• Direct and drive capacity building initiatives & performance of direct and indirect staff, aligning those initiatives with human resources processes and systems.
• Drive synergistic partnerships with other functions to understand their procurement needs.
