Job Title: General Manager - M&A Function

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our M&A function in Muscat, Oman. Reporting to the Chief of Strategy, you will be responsible for identifying and executing transformative opportunities that align with global and regional market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior executives to develop strategic frameworks for corporate development.
2. Drive M&A projects from initiation to execution.
3. Oversee post-merger integration strategies.
4. Provide guidance on corporate governance and partner relationships.
5. Conduct strategic reviews of portfolio companies.
6. Establish management information systems.
7. Support credit rating agencies and investor relations activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. At least 8 years of experience in corporate development, innovation, or strategy, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
3. Expertise in investment appraisal, M&A due diligence, and valuation.
4. Investment banking experience is desired.
5. Telecoms or technology business experience is desirable.
