Civil Supervisor (On PDO WTP Project) Oman

Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for site activities for the planning and follow-up of all construction activities (related to Civil) till handover and sign-off, meeting the timelines in line with QHSE requirements, project specifications, scope of work, schedule, and client requirements.
• Responsible for project planning and control, required interfaces to manage the civil team and sub-contractors for required productivity and QHSE.
• Advise the Project Manager for any technical or engineering changes that could warrant a variation or cost change.
• Ensure day-to-day work progress and communicate with client representatives as appropriate.
• Lead the Civil team & sub-contractors in all aspects for a safer work environment.
• Coordinate and supervise works and ensure timely completion of the projects.
• Liaise with supervision, management, surveying, planning, safety, quality, and commercial teams and provide them with information as required.
• Produce or assist in producing Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, and Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with the same.
• Raise technical queries where information conflict exists or is missing, and act on responses.
• Ensure the sub-contractors' performance in line with project/contract requirements.
• Lead the team of civil discipline for timely completion of the project and ensure the cascaded work activities are completed in time.
• Provide progress reports as required by the project plan.
• Ensure continuous construction work fronts availability.
• Constantly identify bottlenecks for progress on construction and proactively take action to resolve the same.
• Coordinate and liaise with client/contractor and certifying and regulatory authorities to ensure that the project is in compliance with all requirements.
• Coordinate and liaise with client/contractor and certifying the work progress for invoice claims and ensure obtaining the payment certificates in time.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Civil (B.E / B.Tech)
• 5 to 7 years in EPC Turnkey Construction projects, responsible for Civil and other discipline interfaces.
• Experience in handling EPC projects in Oil and Gas sectors.
• Experience in constructing projects in line with QHSE procedures within timelines.
• Project Planning and Control.
• Project coordination between various contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in managing large projects with all disciplines.
• Technically sound and competent. Sober, team player, calm.
• Ability to read drawings and construct accordingly.
• Ability to handle projects individually.
• Experience in handling multiple sites and projects.

Salary Range: 500-OMR to 750-OMR (Depends on Interview)
