Chief Technology Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP and IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee the strategic implementation, management, and optimization of the SAP systems and IT infrastructure in Muscat, Oman.

Salary: OMR 7,500 - OMR 10,000 per month.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our prestigious client as their Chief Technology Strategist. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives, implementing process improvements, and fostering a high-performance IT team.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning and Budget Management:
   Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives.
   Manage IT budgets, including forecasting and resource allocation.
2. SAP ERP Implementation and Management:
   Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of SAP systems.
   Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth system integration.
3. Leadership and Team Management:
   Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals to achieve organizational goals.
   Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
4. Project Management and Vendor Relations:
   Plan, execute, and deliver large-scale IT projects on time and within budget.
   Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and coordinate with third-party suppliers.

Requirements

1. Educational Qualifications:
   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. Industry Certifications:
   ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).
3. Technical Expertise:
   Extensive knowledge of ERP administration and integration.
   Proficiency in cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
4. Leadership and Strategic Planning Skills:
   Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives.
   Experience in strategic IT planning and budget management.
5. Project Management and Vendor Relations:
   Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
   Strong non-commercial vendor management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
