Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Nizwa. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing wooden structures according to specifications. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:

1. Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure
2. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils and marking gauges
3. Cut, shape and join materials using hand or power tools
4. Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim and hardware
5. Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
6. Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
2. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
3. Good understanding of different carpentry techniques and methods
4. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
5. High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship preferred)
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Location: Nizwa is a beautiful city located in the heart of Oman's interior region. It is known for its traditional souks, historic forts, and stunning mountain landscapes. The cost of living in Nizwa is relatively low compared to other cities in the country.
