We are a State Integrated Y1-6 Catholic School in beautiful New Plymouth seeking a warm, engaging and innovative teacher, committed to giving our children a great final year to their Primary School education.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to work in a collaborative environment, is committed to personal growth and can foster a sense of welcome and belonging for children and whanau. Strengths in relationship building and Sport/PE would be advantageous. Units of responsibility are negotiable for the right skill set.
St John Bosco School is a well-resourced, future-focused school. You will be surrounded by curriculum experts to help you confidently and competently navigate the changes in the refreshed curriculum.
The successful applicant will teach a Y5–6 class.
Permanent ‘non tagged’ positions do not come up often so this represents a great opportunity to join a well-resourced school, high performing team and a values-based community.
You do not need to be Catholic for this position but the successful applicant will accept the condition to support, uphold and be positively involved in the special character of the school.
