Location: Working across Wellington, Hutt Valley and Kapiti Region

Service: Crisis Resolution Service

Contract: Permanent, Full Time (1 FTE)

Salary: As per PSA MECA, based on experience

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

The Crisis Resolution Service is a community-based mental health service that provides acute assessment, risk formulation, and treatment working in partnership with people, whanau, and community supports.

We are a frontline service and work closely with emergency departments, police, social services, GPs, and tertiary education providers. We assess people of all ages and refer them to secondary services or back to primary care.

The team is multi-disciplinary, comprising nurses, doctors, social workers, and administrators.

Moū – About you

  • You will be an integral part of the MDT process.
  • Train to become a duly authorised officer for the Mental Health Act 1992 within 6 months.
  • Have a good sense of humour to work within a team.

Skills & Experience

  • Registered Social Worker with at least 3 years’ experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Full driver’s license essential.
  • Skilled in risk assessments and risk formulations.
