About the Opportunity

We're on the hunt for a passionate and proactive Promotions Manager to join our team!

In this role, you'll help shape and execute group-wide promotional and marketing strategies that drive sales, grow brand visibility, and strengthen engagement with both customers and suppliers. You’ll work across teams, manage end-to-end campaigns, and use data to ensure everything we do hits the mark.

In this Role

  • Lead planning and execution of group promotional cycles, ensuring alignment with supplier agreements.
  • Develop annual promotional plans with suppliers and oversee indent/collated order opportunities.
  • Chair Pricing & Ranging Committee meetings and support product and pricing strategies with Operations.
  • Use customer and market insights to guide promotional planning and execution.
  • Ensure all promotional activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Plan, execute, and review multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, social, events) on time and within budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with retail partners, support joint initiatives, and implement negotiated supplier terms.
  • Oversee Nielsen scan payments, supplier rebates, incentives, and manage the Grass Roots Sponsorship Fund.
  • Regularly meet with suppliers (monthly, bimonthly, quarterly) and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews and Joint Business Plans.
  • Lead a high-performing marketing team and contribute to key projects like Store Segmentation and Key Retail initiatives.

You’re Likely a Match If

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing and Merchandising, preferably within retail or FMCG industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing with a strong focus on strategy, execution, and campaign success across various channels.
  • Proven experience managing brand identity, ensuring consistency, and strong knowledge of product and category marketing.
  • Combines innovative thinking with strong analytical skills, using data and insights to drive marketing and merchandising decisions.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational and resource management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experienced in leading high-performing teams, including hiring, training, and inspiring staff to meet business goals.
  • Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
