This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to environmental action across a catchment spanning 6,000 square kilometres. Kaipara Moana Remediation (KMR) works with landowners, community groups, and iwi/hapū to restore the mauri of the Kaipara Moana, the largest natural harbour in the Southern Hemisphere. This award-winning initiative provides facilitation, advice, and funding support for projects that reduce the sediment flowing into waterways and the Kaipara Moana.
We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join an agile, high-performing team in a growing, values-based programme. As part of the KMR leadership team reporting directly to the Pou Tātaki, you will provide business and corporate leadership to Kaipara Moana Remediation. You will lead a team responsible for programme planning and monitoring, financial and other reporting, and oversight of KMR’s digital grants platform and associated business processes. Nested within the Northland Regional Council, the role offers great opportunities to grow in your career through access to on-the-job learning, training, and personal development programmes.
