AC Commissioning Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced AC Commissioning Engineer in our Mt Wellington Branch of McAlpine Hussmann to work across our service and contracting business to support the effective completion and commissioning of major / minor projects.

We're looking for a conscientious team player, able to work autonomously across service, installation, and commissioning competences with proficiency in HVAC service, control systems and commissioning logic. You will have a passion in driving and developing internal training amongst your peers.

About The Role

This key role will be instrumental in supporting the handover and commissioning of major air conditioning projects. In this hybrid role you will use your knowledge and experience to support the Air Conditioning Service team through comprehensive service support and leading the start-up of systems, commissioning, and handover of projects once complete. This role will be varied with no two days the same and suits someone who likes challenges and is a problem solver. We are seeking people who possess the below experience and competencies:

• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Air Conditioning Technician
• Reactive Service and Project based experience
• Commissioning and Controls experience
• Proactive and energetic with effective time management skills
• Attention to detail and able to maintain work performance under pressure
• Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning
• Electrical Service Technician License
• Current (clean) driver's license
• Good communication & customer service skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience on dealing with customers on site
• Health and Safety focused
