Project Manager

What You’ll Do

• You will coordinate the project team which consists of local as well as members of other DEC subsidiaries internationally.
• You will lead regular meetings with the client to manage client expectations and report project progress and deviations from the contract. Your engagement with the client starts from day one until the final meeting.
• You balance and prioritize available resources to keep the project on track.
• Generally, you will ensure you are complying with laws, regulations, and guidelines within the pharmaceutical industry.
• You will manage Engineering through the Project Engineer on the progress of the engineering activities and technical challenges.
• You will liaise with Sales on communicating and managing change orders with the client.
• You proactively schedule, prepare, and manage the FAT and SAT, and communicate timely internally as well as externally. Additionally, you may have to actively participate in the IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• You continuously evaluate the project, document, and share the learnings at the correct level.
• Your willingness to travel during the project life is real.

Your profile

• A technical bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in a similar type of industry.
• Project management at IPMA C / Prince 2 level.
• Product/technical knowledge with mechatronic machinery.
• Experience in dealing with national and international clients and suppliers.
• Experience with turnkey projects including site installation & commissioning.
• Strong in contract management.
• Experience in managing highly skilled team members.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
