Junior Manufacturing Engineer – Netherlands (Permanent)

About the Role:

VHR is hiring for a leading aerospace manufacturing company specializing in designing and producing aircraft and helicopter parts. Join an industry pioneer committed to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
• Provide technical support for production development and integration.
• Resolve vendor schedule/quality issues and manage Level 1 & 2 non-conformities.
• Implement and optimize tooling and production planning using Zero-Defect Manufacturing (ZDM).
• Oversee product development, first article development, and process improvements.
• Drive Lean initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements:

• 1–3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with new product/process introduction and production process improvements.
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9000, AS9100, D1-9000).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with machining and surface treatment processes (milling, plating, NDI) is a plus.
