Job Purpose
The Logistics Supervisor is a vital role that reports to the Head of Supply Chain and sits between the Head of Supply Chain and Team Leaders to facilitate operational excellence within the warehouse. You will manage key day-to-day activities through leading & coaching Team Leaders, oversee recruitment, and ensure alignment between the planning specialist and process administration functions.
Reporting and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) which form a critical part in ensuring the fulfilment of customer orders smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders by providing mentoring, training, and support to create a high performing group of leaders.
- Set clear objectives for team leaders, setting actionable development plans and monitor progress throughout the year offering constructive feedback to drive individuals' improvement.
- Create and maintain employee timesheets and manage absence reporting.
- Manage the order processing and fulfilment of customer recognition pins.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders for ordering promotional materials.
- Create, maintain and report on the Logistics KPIs, and drive improvements where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reviewing and updating annually.
- Engage in recruitment activities, including CV screening, interviewing, and actively representing Lifeplus Vision and Values, to ensure the selection of top talent for the logistics team.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks within Logistics and escalate to the Head of Supply Chain with proposed actions.
- Promote a secure, safe, and healthy work environment by implementing and upholding company policies and legal regulations.
- Be an active H&S committee member to facilitate and maintain high standards within the warehouse.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to maintain and exceed delivery service level agreements.
Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing managers within a Logistics environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proficient in warehouse procedures and policies.
- Health & Safety qualifications preferred (e.g., VCA, BHV).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Dutch would be an advantage.
- Excellent skills in MS Office including MS365.
- Ability to analyse data and implement process improvements.

Hours and Days:
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday between 07:00-17:00.
