International Financial Accountant

My client is a growing Biotech company seeking a International Senior Financial Accountant in Amsterdam (Hybrid). It's a very exciting company looking to make a brand new hire.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage monthly and quarterly close processes for European subsidiaries.
2. Create and review monthly reporting packages and reconciliations.
3. Collaborate with Corporate accounting on cash and debt management.
4. Work with FP&A on budget updates and variance analysis.
5. Ensure SOX-compliant control framework for European subsidiaries.
6. Assist with VAT reporting and compliance.
7. Support local GAAP financial statements and tax returns.
8. Oversee payroll operations with ADP Global Payroll Provider.
9. Partner with Corporate Finance on compensation reporting.
10. Collaborate with Supply Chain on VAT implications.

Key Requirements:

1. BA or BS degree in finance/accounting.
2. 8+ years in international accounting and finance.
3. Knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and SOX.
4. Experience in public accounting and pharma preferred.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Fluent in Dutch and English.
