Continuous Improvement Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Lead (CI Lead) within the PMO & Engineering department.

In this role, you will drive the identification, analysis and implementation of Lean process improvements within warehouse logistics operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize internal logistics processes. Due to our commitment to operational excellence, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven CI Lead. You will report to the Business & Operations Excellence Manager and be an integral part of the continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for continuous improvement related questions across multiple sites;
2. Analyze current warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean methodologies;
3. Organize and conduct Kaizen workshops (IKW) and plan Kaizen-weeks (KW) across multiple departments/accounts annually;
4. Track and follow up on Lean opportunities, collaborating closely with the 3 Business Unit OPEX Leads to ensure a sufficient number of CI projects are completed throughout the year, maintaining a consistent Lean pipeline;
5. Provide dedicated Lean Green Belt training and certification support across all buildings;
6. Work closely with warehouse management and staff to collect data and insights on operational performance and improvement needs;
7. Support and execute Gemba Walks on the shop floor to monitor and evaluate process improvements;
8. Assist the OpEx Manager in KPI reporting for both site-specific and corporate stakeholders.

Function Requirements:

1. You have a bachelor/master work and thinking level;
2. Proven experience in continuous improvement roles, preferably in warehouse logistics or supply chain environments;
3. A Lean Green Belt certification is a must-have, Black Belt certification is a bonus;
4. Strong knowledge and experience with LEAN methodology is a prerequisite;
5. You have a strong analytical mindset, are highly organized, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and maintain a positive attitude while focusing on both details and the big picture;
6. You are persuasive in your approach and able to inspire others to follow your lead;
7. You have strong communication skills in English, Dutch preferred.
