Job summary
A prominent legal institution in Malaysia is seeking a qualified legal professional to assist with case management, litigation, and client communication. Responsibilities include attending hearings, drafting legal documents, and liaising with clients on case updates. Candidates must hold an LLB degree and have at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law. The position offers a professional working environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Qualifications
- Holds a recognized LLB degree with a valid Practising Certificate.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in personal injury and accident litigation.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsibilities
- Attend case management proceedings and trials.
- Draft, prepare, and file legal documentation.
- Update clients on case progress.
- Assist in other legal work as assigned.
Skills
Education
- To attend case management proceedings, e‑reviews, hearings, and trials as required.
- To draft, prepare, and file all relevant cause papers and legal documentation.
- To assist in any other legal work as assigned from time to time.
- To update, communicate, and liaise with clients regarding case progress and related matters.
- Holds a recognized LLB degree with a valid Practising Certificate and Sijil Annual.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in personal injury and accident litigation.
- Demonstrates a professional personality and strong work ethic.
- Competent in assessing damages and quantum, including use of legal compendiums.
- Possesses strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Owns reliable transportation and is willing to travel.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
