About the Team

The Workday Education team develops and delivers engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of Workday’s unified solution. The Integrations / Extend team focuses on teaching development tools that allow Workday to integrate with other systems, as well as extend delivered applications.

Our Workday Instructors are our outstanding ambassadors of Workday and exceed at bridging the learning gap for users. We are specialists at embracing innovation and mastering technology. We are passionate about helping learners and representing our products, team, and organization. You should also be ready to work hard while having a lot of fun doing it!

As a Workday Technical Instructor, you will:

• Be the ambassadors of Workday.
• Complete a training and qualification program and become proficient in the Workday product suite.
• Lead full days of training in English to audiences that can include customers, partners, and Workmates.
• Perform remote training using various collaborative teaching methods.
• Use dynamic presentation skills to engage your learners and improve their learning experience.
• Perform administrative responsibilities for classes you are conducting.
• Participate in frequent trainings to stay current with software updates. Learn and quickly master new product functionality.
• Collaborate with content development team to define course structure, content, and delivery method to produce high quality training.
• Participate in cross functional projects.
• Establish relationships with Workmates across teams to share standard methodologies, drive innovation, and meet goals.
• Mentor other instructors on your areas of expertise.
• Occasional travel may be required (typically one time per year).

About You

We seek a strong communicator who bridges technical concepts and functional users. You enjoy learning new tools and technologies, you are experienced in handling data flows, and teaching how reporting, security, and workflows integrate. You understand how data management connects with platforms, integrations, and development. You take pride in virtual training, helping customers, partners, and employees gain certifications. Basic Qualifications-Staff Level

• 3 to 5+ years of software development or integrating systems with third party service vendors, ideally with Human Resource, Payroll or Financial ERP application software.
• Strong technical capability including Command of Service Oriented Architecture concepts including SOAP and REST. Experience with XML, XSLT, XPATH, JSON, or other integration technologies.
• Proficiency in professional business communication in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Other Qualifications

• Experience teaching content to a large audience from technical and functional audiences' background via virtual or in-person classes comfortably and confidently is a plus point.
• Excellent analytical and demonstrated problem solving skills both technically and functionally. Proven track record to grasp, distil and synthesize concepts and details from diverse sources, identify trends, develop strategies, and implement high-impact solutions proactively and quickly.
• Proven ability to lead and contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, constantly evolving and sometimes unexpected work environment, prioritizing accordingly and raising appropriately.
• Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision. Willing to work reliably in any APAC / Japan time zone.
