Well Control Instructor (Technical Trainer - Drilling)

RelyOn Tech Sdn Bhd (Formerly known as Aberdeen Drilling International) is seeking a highly qualified Well Control Instructor (Technical Trainer - Drilling) to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accredited Drilling courses, developing bespoke training programs for the drilling and well services industry, and contributing to course enhancements. This position is based full-time at our Malaysia training centre, with opportunities for international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality training and coaching using RelyOn’s training materials, ensuring compliance with company and accreditation standards.
2. Collaborate with the Regional Director to enhance course content, research and develop new materials, and implement effective teaching methodologies.
3. Support the development and continuous improvement of Well Control courses and related training materials.
4. Ensure all courses are structured and delivered in accordance with the syllabus requirements set by accrediting bodies.
5. Participate in customer service improvement initiatives to enhance the client learning experience.
6. Provide technical expertise in the development of new courses and contribute to the preparation of course descriptors, including learning outcomes and course structure.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Possession of a Supervisory Level Well Control certificate with at least two years of relevant operational experience in Drilling and Well Intervention Operations.
2. A minimum of five years’ experience in a drilling, completions, or well intervention supervisory position.
3. Strong technical competence with extensive field knowledge and hands-on experience.
