WAREHOUSE - SUPERVISOR

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. This includes receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing space to minimize operational costs. The Warehouse Supervisor will also play a key role in coordinating deliveries and ensuring seamless operations across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving & Inspection: Supervise the receipt of materials from vendors, verify quantities, perform quality checks, and ensure all items meet company specifications.
2. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management practices, including stock organization, monitoring stock levels, and implementing First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures. Assist in stock replenishment and report on inventory discrepancies.
3. Warehouse Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities, allocate labor efficiently, and ensure that operations adhere to company policies and quality standards. Continuously improve workflow and warehouse processes.
4. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and timely delivery of orders to dealers, ensuring that all orders are processed and shipped accurately and efficiently.
5. Safety & Cleanliness: Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, including 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free working environment.
6. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation related to receiving, inventory, and distribution. Prepare and file receiving reports and inventory logs, and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Team Coordination: Facilitate communication between warehouse teams, delivery staff, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Additional Requirements:

1. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
2. Ability to coordinate effectively between warehouse staff and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
2. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety and inventory management systems.
4. Ability to manage a team, allocate resources, and improve operational efficiency.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience, with a proven track record in warehouse operations, inventory control, and team management.
2. Proficiency in operating forklift and reach truck – certification or relevant experience is required.
3. Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and inventory management principles.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise a team.
6. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
