Warehouse Supervisor
Job description
Job Responsibilities:
- To supervise & lead warehouse assistant on day-to-day operations activities (if any subordinate reported to).
- As backup to assistant supervisor/supervisor of other designated area during their absence.
- To assist in the absence of the warehouse assistant in the designated area.
- To ensure the discipline & company regulations are being carried out by the designated responsible warehouse area.
- To report to superior on the lateness of team members for necessary actions taken.
- To ensure the SOP, HACCP, GMP & safety procedures are performed & carried out in the warehouse.
- To ensure the warehouse team members of the designated area follow and perform the procedures, rules, and regulations accordingly.
- To handle daily forklift maintenance recording (if the division needs a forklift).
- To arrange the warehouse assistant to maintain the warehouse cleanliness by the designated work area.
- Ensure the safety of the warehouse work activities and environment. Report to superior for any defects identified.
- To ensure corrective actions are carried out from any non-conformities and audit findings detected.
- To check, identify & ensure right items and quantities of the Non-conformities, RMA, DMR and report to clerk, superior for actions taken.
- Highlight to superior on any slow-moving, obsolete inventory detected.
- To check, monitor and ensure the warehouse assistant carries out the FIFO and FEFO practices. Any discrepancies shall be highlighted to superior.
- To carry out the daily warehouse inventory count as identified by superior and report the count accordingly.
- Need to participate in the monthly warehouse cycle count and half-yearly PI count as instructed by superior.
- Conduct the scheduled checking on warehouse maintenance of forklift and buildings and report to superior in a timely manner.
- To conduct the record, update data checking on a timely manner as required.
- To conduct the training and guidance to the warehouse assistant and monitor their performance and report to superior.
- To support ad hoc requests from superior.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year working experience as warehouse supervisor in manufacturing industry.
- SPM holder or relevant.
- Have forklift skills and ERP systems.
- Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Physically fit for working in the warehouse.
