About the role

This is a full-time Warehouse Supervisor role with Kingdom Precision Metal (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage and distribution of goods.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team.
2. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
3. Implement and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Optimise warehouse layout and workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance overall warehouse operations.
7. Provide training and mentorship to warehouse staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
8. Generate and analyse performance reports to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries.
2. Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
3. Proficient in inventory management and warehouse operations, including stock control, order processing, and logistics coordination.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly.
5. Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
7. Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay.
