Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee our warehouse operations. This role is crucial in managing the efficient storage, distribution, and inventory of our products, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery to our customers across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

1. To comply with the requirements of the Management System implemented in the organization (HACCP, ISO 14001, BRC-IoP Packaging and FSC Chain of Custody).
2. Inventory Management: Develop and execute strategies for effective inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels. Perform regular inventory audits, manage stock replenishment, and reduce both wastage and overstocking.
3. Logistics Coordination: Direct all logistics functions, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Ensure that all shipments meet quality standards and are delivered accurately and on time.
4. Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing warehouse team. Implement training programs to enhance team skills and foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
5. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet Glades Guppy Packaging’s high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and address any quality issues promptly.
6. Safety and Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse. Develop and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment and adherence to regulatory requirements.
7. Operational Excellence: Identify and drive process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce costs. Optimize workflows and implement best practices.
8. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Prepare and present regular performance reports, including inventory status and operational issues.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
3. Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing a team.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Any knowledge of ISO 14001, FSC, FSSC and BRC standards is advantageous.
7. Familiarity with Odoo and AutoCount software is a plus.
