Role Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role involves supervising the receiving, storage, and issuance of materials, coordinating with the logistics team, and liaising with suppliers.

In This Role You Will

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels for ongoing projects and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safe operation.
  • Supervise the receiving, storage, and issuance of materials and equipment.
  • Implement and enforce safety and security measures to protect warehouse operations and inventory.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to prioritize and fulfill internal and project-related material requests.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies in deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status, stock availability, and any issues affecting operations.
  • Inspect incoming materials and equipment for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure outgoing materials are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to project requirements.
  • Maintain documentation related to inventory records, purchase orders, and material receipts.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse operations as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within warehouse operations.
  • Implement best practices in inventory management and warehouse organization to optimize space and workflow.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.
  • Other tasks requested from your supervisor.

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
