WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (WAREHOUSE DEPARTMENT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Warehouse workers, receive goods delivered to the warehouse for storage.
• Unload the merchandise from the trucks and check to ensure that they match with the delivery documents such as the Delivery Note.
• Verify that the goods are intact and report any defects.
• Prepare Tally Sheet together with DN & pass it to CS to update in the system.
• Arrange for Picking when orders are received & Deliver as per Delivery Order.
• Follow-up warehouse workers operate under the supervision of a manager or team leader and are primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory, keeping records, and organizing for the shipping of merchandise stored in the warehouse.
• Operate automated equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
• Sort the deliveries and group the same type of products together to facilitate record keeping and filling of orders.
• Count and record the number of stock items upon receipt and release of merchandise.
• Maintain records of damage to stock and disposal of defective goods.
• Take responsibility for the safety of self and others at all times.
• Eliminate accidents, injuries & hazards at all times.
• Multi-task as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent certificates in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations (typically 1-3 years).
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Able to work staggered hours.
