Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control warehouse operations to ensure efficient product storage, retrieval, and dispatching.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Ensure the warehouse layout is optimized for efficient use of space and ease of access to goods.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control procedures are followed.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and mitigate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and manage stock replenishments.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high performance and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Develop and implement performance metrics to assess individual and team productivity.
• Manage shift scheduling, time tracking and employee performance reviews.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring that staff follow correct procedures for the safe handling of materials.
• Monitor and ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety, conducting regular inspections.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for the timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
• Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize costs and improve delivery times.
• Resolve any shipping or delivery issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, stock levels, staff performance and other key metrics.
• Analyse warehouse data to identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
• Implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives based on data-driven insights.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ensure the correct use of technology and tools for tracking inventory and shipments.

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications or experience.
