Job description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

  • Ensure seamless operations and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Monitor and supervise stock in and out activities.
  • Plan and arrange space for incoming stocks.
  • Oversee inventory security and control measures to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on incoming and outgoing stocks.
  • Plan, organize and lead stock count activities.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring proper task delegation and adherence to safety and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics partner, retail, planner, administration, or finance.
  • Ensure that the necessary reports for customers as well as for management review are generated timely and accurately.
  • Plan and ensure the optimal utilization of warehouse storage space.
  • Maintain good housekeeping all the time in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM or Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years related working experience in warehouse/logistics/distribution.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics operations.
  • Strong integrity, meticulous, resourceful, and result-oriented.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office and Dynamics 365 BC will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work in Bandar Saujana Putra, Jenjarom.
