Warehouse Assistant

• Position: Warehouse Assistant-Operations.

Chrisjac Recruitment is an established recruitment agency in Malaysia and currently we are assisting this well-established logistics company to recruit warehouse operators to take up the vacancies that are located at Port Klang. The vacancies available are for immediate placement at the warehouse facilities at both West Port and North Port.
The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operations team to manage the cargo/shipments that have been imported or to be exported.
About the job
This role will be warehouse based and therefore not in a conventional office environment. This is a full-time permanent position and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities.
The general duties will involve the following:

1. Perform cargo loading and unloading.
2. Perform physical counts, tally and surface inspection of cargo upon receiving/delivery.
3. Store cargoes in proper location assigned within the warehouse.
4. Perform cargo issuance.
5. Pick, pack and dispatch cargo according to ownership and destinations.

Requirements

1. Malaysians in age group 23-38.
2. Punctual with positive work ethic.
3. Physically fit with ability to lift and carry.
4. Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.
5. Forklift license will be ideal, useful and beneficial.
6. 2-3 years experience in warehouse operations, picking and packing, customer services or similar environment preferred.
7. Ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers.
8. 2-3 years of previous warehouse operations, especially in 3PL facility has a huge advantage and will be highly regarded.
9. Hands-on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.
10. Proficient with ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Candidates who wish to be considered for this role must be willing to be based within a warehouse environment and have their own means of transport to be accessible to North Port/West Port area.
