Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Receiving, checking, recording, organising and storing stock as it is received.
2. Taking inventories of stock and products, ensuring that they are safely and properly stored.
3. Dispatching and loading goods out of the warehouse for delivery.
4. Reporting damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
5. Performing stock count.
6. Maintaining the cleanliness and practising 5S in the warehouse.
7. Managing the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
8. Making inspections on equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and overseeing general maintenance as needed.
9. Ensuring full compliance with internal standard operating procedures and taking safety precautions at all times in the warehouse.
10. Assisting in daily warehouse operations including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
11. Handling any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the supervisors or Company from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1. Having prior warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
2. Possessing a qualification in logistics or warehouse operations (e.g. Certificate in Warehousing Operation) is an added advantage.
