Waiter / Waitress (171732)

Located at the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city center, Traders Hotel by Shangri-La is looking for a dynamic, multi-skilled talent in delivering our Asian hospitality.

As a Waiter / Waitress, we rely on you:

1. Under the guidance and supervision of the Outlet Manager.
2. Responsible for greeting and escorting guests to their tables and taking the guests' orders.
3. Liaising with the Kitchen department in order to make the food arrangements.
4. Delivering orders to tables and taking care of assigned tables throughout service time.

Requirements:

1. Minimum SPM level Education or relevant certificate.
2. Presentable and pleasant appearance.
3. Good communication ability.
4. Good knowledge of the restaurant and food handling regulations.
5. Fluent in spoken and written English and Malay; additional languages such as Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese are a definite advantage.
6. Experience performing a similar position for at least 1 year.
7. Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
