VPMS Product Modeller

We are looking for a VPMS Product Modeller with a strong background in the insurance industry and hands-on experience in VPMS (Variable Product Modelling System). The ideal candidate should be proficient in product configuration, actuarial modelling, and calculations within VPMS. Additionally, expertise in Excel (including advanced functions and data analysis) is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and maintain insurance product models in VPMS.
2. Ensure accurate implementation of product rules, formulas, and calculations.
3. Support testing and validation of models to ensure correctness and efficiency.

Insurance Product Development & Analysis:

1. Work closely with actuarial, product, and IT teams to develop and enhance insurance products.
2. Translate product specifications into VPMS models and validate results.
3. Analyse existing models to identify optimization opportunities.

Excel Data Analysis & Reporting:

1. Utilize Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA, and Advanced Formulas) for data analysis and validation.
2. Generate reports to support decision-making and product implementation.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:

1. Act as a subject matter expert for VPMS-related queries.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuaries, developers, and business analysts.
3. Provide training and guidance on VPMS modelling best practices.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience working with VPMS in an insurance domain.
2. Strong understanding of insurance products (Life, Annuities, or Health).
3. Experience in product pricing, policy calculations, and actuarial concepts.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in VPMS for insurance product modelling and rule configuration.
2. Basic understanding of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages (preferred but not mandatory).
