Job Description

Position Responsibility

• Technical Advisory: Responsible for fostering demand and establishing yourself as a thought leader within the Asia Pacific Virtualization market by engaging with our customers, partners, and analysts. Able to present on Virtualization topics as Technical Expert or CTO in regional keynote events.
• Client Engagement & Relationship: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Market Intelligence: Developing comprehensive plans and overseeing strategies to rapidly expand the market share and surpass growth rates of industry peers.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide relevant insights and influence the customers.
• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team in pre-sales activities, including customer presentations, technical demonstrations, and proposal development in critical virtualization & storage projects. Can effectively communicate technical concepts to technical stakeholders and business benefits to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic Planning: Work with customers to reconcile technology strategies and chart out a roadmap with their overall digital transformation approaches.
• Team Collaborator: Act as a bridge between internal technical teams and external customers/partners, ensuring a clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations to architect the overall solutions.

Education Background

• Bachelor and above with ICT related majors (Major in Telecommunication, Computer Science, etc.)
• Broad understanding of the solutions business in the enterprise ICT industry.
• Good understanding of IT products: Virtualization, Storage, Computing, etc.
• Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented, and highly independent.

Working Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in complex IT and Virtualization solution design, implementation, and support.
• Knowledge of ICT environment, strategic partners for solutions, industry and business trends in order to be able to build solutions is an advantage.
• Ability to interact with middle and high levels in Client and internal environments across geography and culture.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working for some other IT and Virtualization domain principals or partners is considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel for business in Asia Pacific countries.

Professional Skills

• Proficient in mainstream virtualization platforms, has in-depth understanding of the technical features and differentiators on solutions from vendors such as VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
• Minimum 10-Year experience in a technical leadership or solution architect role with proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise virtualization solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with different levels from C-Suite to working-level clients, understand their needs, and articulate technical solutions.
• Has vast experience in supporting sales activities, including pre-sales presentations, technical demonstrations, and proposal development.
• Has in-depth knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• Possess a strong can-do attitude and growth mindset, always challenging the status quo.
• Willingness to travel the APAC region to engage customers with our local teams.
