Vice President (Manager) - Pulse & Digital (PRIDE)

Seeking a strategic and commercially driven candidate for PULSE App to transform our journey planner into a revenue-generating lifestyle platform. This role is responsible for driving business growth, expanding commercial opportunities, and developing new monetization strategies through digital commerce, partnerships, and lifestyle integrations. The ideal candidate has a strong business mindset, a keen understanding of digital ecosystems, and a proven track record in revenue generation.

Key Accountabilities

Business & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to monetize PULSE through in-app retail, advertising, subscriptions, and loyalty programs.
  • Identify and launch new revenue streams such as exclusive brand partnerships, premium services, and fintech integrations.
  • Drive customer spending within Shop in PULSE by curating deals, promotions, and personalized offers.
  • Establish and optimize digital payment models, including e-wallets, cashless transactions, and affiliate marketing.

Commercial & Strategic Partnerships

  • Forge high-value partnerships with brands, retailers, and service providers to enrich PULSE’s ecosystem and enhance revenue potential.
  • Develop joint marketing campaigns with partners to drive user engagement and in-app transactions.
  • Build and manage long-term strategic alliances that position PULSE as a must-have lifestyle and transit companion.

Product & Market Expansion

  • Oversee the evolution of PULSE from a transit app into a fully integrated lifestyle and commercial platform.
  • Leverage market research and user insights to identify new opportunities and tailor services to commuter and lifestyle needs.
  • Collaborate with tech, UI/UX, and data teams to ensure seamless user experiences that encourage repeat transactions.

Performance & Commercial Success Metrics

  • Define and track KPIs related to revenue, customer acquisition, conversion rates, and partner engagement.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and business modelling to assess new commercial initiatives.
  • Continuously optimize business strategies based on data-driven insights, user behaviour, and market trends.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commercial Strategy, Marketing, Digital Innovation, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, digital commerce, partnerships, or revenue management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue generation.
  • Experience in e-commerce, digital platforms, fintech, or retail partnerships.
  • Knowledge of app development lifecycles, API integrations, cloud solutions, and data analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate with software engineers, UI/UX teams, and data scientists to optimize app performance.
  • Experience in agile product management, user experience (UX) optimization, and mobile commerce strategies.
