Company Background

We are representing our client, a national agency tasked to facilitate and promote the country's healthcare travel industry and to position Malaysia as the preferred healthcare destination.

Work Location: Kuala Lumpur

Contract Terms: 2 years (renewable)

Job Overview

To lead the division of healthcare which comprises healthcare excellence & optimization, transformative healthcare initiatives, membership & hospital liaison, strategic healthcare development, and healthcare travel gateway.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To lead the development and implementation of Augment and Coordinate strategy and plans.
  2. To lead the implementation of Integrative medicine for Medical tourism by working with all stakeholders.
  3. To establish and enhance relationships with private hospitals, ambulatory care facility providers, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  4. To monitor relationships with stakeholders, identifying key interventions such as regular engagement activities, forums, dialogues, summits, and more that would be beneficial in achieving the company's objectives.
  5. To implement initiated ventures including FMTH, in accordance with the implementation plan and objectives, and to work with all relevant divisions and other stakeholders.
  6. To lead the review of the entire Health Travel Ecosystem and to develop and implement appropriate strategies aimed at enabling optimum or exceptional levels of customer satisfaction while working closely with stakeholders.
  7. To establish itself as the platform to assist divisions in communicating with stakeholders.
  8. To lead the continuous development, review, and enhancement of the membership program, including Secretariat for Technical Committee and Selection & Evaluation Committee.
  9. To build and foster good working relationships with all other stakeholders of the medical tourism value chain, including bilateral and multi-lateral relations.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a Degree / Masters in Medical or related fields. Preferably from a medical-related field.
  2. At least 12 -15 years of working experience, with 7 years in managerial positions in the related fields.
  3. Very strong EQ, specialized in building networks.
  4. Experienced in process review and development of superior functional business/quality systems.
  5. Demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, and excellent interpersonal communication traits.
  6. Able to work independently, analytical, proactive, and organized.
  7. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
