With recent partnerships with iMoney and CTOS, we are looking to accelerate our growth in the banking and financial industry. We’ve started with a strong foothold in Malaysia and presence in Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, the UAE, Brunei, and now we are expanding locally and globally. As part of our expansion, we are searching for a potential candidate to join us as a Vendor Management Specialist.

YOUR MISSION

The Vendor Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing third-party purchases for our financial services clients and managing the company’s procurement function globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with established providers of system integration, IT services, cloud computing, and other related solutions, as well as extensive knowledge of technology hardware and cloud products and services. This role requires developing procurement strategies, managing contracts, and negotiating with key suppliers to support the company’s global scale, ensuring that procurement practices drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.

HOW WOULD YOU ACHIEVE THIS?

You are responsible for:

  • Implement procurement processes, policies, and strategies.
  • Ensure scalability and efficiency in procurement activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement of technology hardware and cloud services.
  • Implement effective sourcing strategies to meet the company’s procurement needs and financial goals.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through sourcing and negotiations.
  • Track and report savings against procurement goals.
  • Contract Negotiation & Management:
  • Utilise strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and pricing with vendors.
  • Oversee the drafting, review, and management of vendor contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure contractual compliance.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track and evaluate vendor performance, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supplier and contract risks.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential new vendors and products.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and IT, to align procurement activities with business objectives.

You will need to:

  • Achieve defined cost savings targets.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships.
  • Optimise procurement processes and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

You are someone who has:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vendor management or sourcing roles, preferably within established solution providers of system integration, IT services, cloud computing, and other related solutions.
  • Strong understanding of technology hardware and cloud products and services.
  • Proven track record of effective negotiation with vendors to achieve optimal terms and managing contracts.
  • Experience with procurement systems or ERPs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess vendor performance and market conditions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Advantage: Global Procurement – experience handling suppliers across multiple regions.
  • Advantage: Sustainability – exposure to sustainable procurement practices.
  • Advantage: Risk Management – experience in identifying and mitigating procurement risks.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
