About your role

• To conduct inspection on vehicles in accordance with guidelines and procedures.
• Verify vehicle identification and other vehicle information.
• Conduct assessment of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Verify odometer reading and engine condition.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and options.
• Verify and document damage and issues to the chassis, body and paint, engine, air conditioning, electronics, tyres etc.
• Provide accurate and complete documentation for vehicle condition including taking photos.
• Submitting the conditions report via computer or app.
• Conduct mobile inspections according to schedule and set procedures.
• Perform any duties as required by immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM; additional academic qualification or certification in automotive technology is a plus.
• Experience in automotive industry as vehicle inspector, technician, mechanic or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair.
• Familiarity with relevant safety and emissions standards and regulations.
• Meticulous, attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
