In the roles as Lead Engineer

• Effective resource management of the team and ability to manage tasks efficiently with the team.
• Work efficiently and effectively towards meeting the project milestones of man-hours, cost, and project schedules.
• Take leadership for Electrical discipline activities in multi-disciplinary projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional departments (PMD/ECP/Procurement) for results.
• Responsible for electrical engineering design activities on Onshore/Offshore project executions.
• Well versed with technical parameters of various electrical equipment and good understanding of specifications and manufacturing processes of electrical equipment.
• Ability to select proper equipment to meet project schedule and budgeted cost.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical network design calculations and provide guidance to the team for system studies requirement.
• Knowledge of theory, content, and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable for onshore/offshore projects.
• Awareness of man-hour and material cost estimates.
• Resource management for efficient project execution.
• Knowledge on various project phases: Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, EPCM, PMC, Detailed Engineering related to Onshore/Offshore Oil-Gas/Petrochemical projects.

Main Accountabilities

• Understanding and applying knowledge of International Codes and Standards, Industrial Standards and Practices as applicable, and interpretation and application of the requirement to meet project requirements.
• Understanding and applying knowledge of Local Codes and Standards, identify discrepancies with any international standards, competent to resolve problems/troubleshoot based on Codes & Standards interpretation.
• Understand limitations of Codes and Standards, knowledge of Local laws and applicable regulatory requirements and apply with accuracy and effectiveness.
• In-depth understanding of Client’s specification (e.g. PTS, DEP etc.) and provide service which meets contract requirements.
• Review and raise clarifications on the Contractual documents/ITB (Invitation to Bid) in case of ambiguity in definition/lack of clarity/lack of reference/areas of doubt etc. based on experience/judgment.

About You

• The Candidate shall possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering accredited by the Board of Engineer Malaysia or approved equivalent.
• For engineer, possess at least minimum 4 years of electrical engineering design experiences in onshore/offshore application.
• For Sr Engineer, possess at least minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience in similar electrical engineering design experiences for onshore/offshore application.
• Preferably registered Professional Engineer (PE) with local board or approved equivalent. Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) will be advantageous for Lead Engineering position.

Additional Information

• Be willing to travel and stationed at various Engineering Operating Centers/Client Office on needs basis (for overseas assignment).
• Site or experience with OEM (1 to 2 years).
• Exhibit and maintain good relationship with Client/Peers/Equipment Vendor & suppliers.
• Good Professional Check (feedback) from past Employers/Clients.
