If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager, reporting directly to Vice President, Commercial to join our Commercial team based in Kuala Lumpur.

About The Role:

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring implementation of Business Development & Sales strategies and targets, developing long term relationships with clients.
  • Ensures the achievement of sales & marketing objectives within your scope by managing a portfolio of clients, identifying sales targets, determining the clients’ needs and priorities.
  • Ensures the development of sustainable relationships with new and existing clients, throughout the lifecycle.
  • Works closely with the Operations heads to identify project needs for commercial and technical engagement.
  • Ensures a sound knowledge of the market, clients and technologies so as to maximize the commercial impact and the added value for the client.
  • Represents and defends Technip Energies interests and image in external events, promoting its technology and digital offering.
  • Ensures compliance of partners with Group principles.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, or a related technical field).
  • 15 to 20 years of experience in business development or commercial roles within the energy or related industries.
  • Proven expertise in client relationship management and strategic account development.
  • Strong knowledge of market trends in the energy sector, particularly in sustainable and digital solutions.
  • Exceptional skills in negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with technical and commercial aspects of project development.
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities and risks effectively.
  • Residing in or having prior work experience in Sarawak will be an added advantage.
