Job Responsibilities
- To plan orders from the customer Navision system
- To plan trucks and assign trucks for deliveries
- To notify drivers or subcontractor planning for next day deliveries
- To update delivery statuses from departure from warehouse until arrival at customer premise
- To book trucks for Line Haul and Local Deliveries that requires outsourced contractors
Tracking Shipments (Control Tower)
- To effectively communicate with drivers and monitor their delivery progress
- To provide detailed instructions and follow up with each driver regarding their daily delivery assignments.
- To ensure timely uploading of scanned PODs/Images into the Navision/TMS system within 24 hours for efficient follow-up and tracking.
- To monitor the arrival times of each driver's deliveries and provide updates as needed.
- To check the TMS system for order processing and route planning
- To coordinate with planner from other project for any consolidation of trucks for Line Haul deliveries.
- To maintain up-to-date outbound status information.
- To track shipments and notify customers of delivery arrivals.
- To escalate any delays in planned to the Customer Service team after consulting with drivers.
POD Management
- To contact drivers to request POD for updating daily delivery closures.
- To upload received PODs from drivers into Navision / TMS system.
- To insert any necessary remarks in the Navision system as needed.
Drivers Score Card
- To sort and filter on customers complaints for each driver
- To prepare weekly Drivers KPI score card for performance evaluation.
