Transport Executive

Purpose of the position:

The Transport Executive is responsible for delivering and maintaining best in class transport operation standards while ensuring the site operates safely, smoothly and efficiently. This role supports the sales center and site management in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures that transport operations run seamlessly to meet business needs.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure adherence to safe operating standards (e.g., VEH and DEL chapters) and preventive maintenance to avoid downtime, injuries, and accidents, with a focus on continuous safety leadership through activities like Pre-Departure Checks and briefings.
• Regularly review and improve transport operations strategies, ensuring delivery operations meet key performance indicators (KPIs), targets, and budget goals while implementing cost improvement programs.
• Actively engage, coach, and motivate drivers and contractors to ensure they understand their roles in delivering the Product Service Offering (PSO) and compliance with safety protocols like the Smith Principles and Job Safety Observations.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, ensure safety checks are completed, and implement corrective actions from assessments, Root Cause Analyses, and other action plans. Ensure adherence to national and environmental regulations.
• Support sales processes, stock control in SAP, and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with Linde’s commercial standards and fostering effective communication and teamwork within sales centers and other teams.

What we're looking for

• Preferably Degree and above
• 2 years and above experience in logistic field, site and people management
• Possess wide range of skills and experience in Transport Operations
