Translator (Finance Industry)

Our client, a global leader in Marketing and Communications services, is looking for an experienced Translator to cope with their fast expansion in Asia.

Job Description

1. To provide translation and interpretation support to the banking clients.
2. To coordinate all incoming job requests, including:
1. Assessing completion time.
2. Determining required capacity.
3. Negotiating deadline with requester, if necessary.
4. Advanced planning of capacity, if necessary.
5. Providing advice to requester on more efficient ways of handling a job.
3. To coordinate with outsourcing vendors.
4. To maintain and seek ways to improve the quality of service provided, which may include building better client relations and obtaining feedback from service users.

Job Requirements

1. 5 years of experience in translation, including 3 years in finance and legal related fields.
2. Familiar with and proficient in English to Hong Kong Style Chinese / Mainland Style Chinese and vice versa.
3. Willing to work shift/flexible hours during weekends when job situation requires.
4. Ability to produce quality work under time constraints.
5. Client service-oriented with good interpersonal skills.
6. Excellent command of both English and Mandarin.
