Summary

The Training Specialist II (System) will support the digital transformation of Learning & Development (L&D) processes through the effective use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tools. This role involves assisting in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of learning platforms, supporting process improvements, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with various teams to deliver effective and efficient learning solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assist with the review of current L&D workflows to identify areas for digitalization and automation.
  2. Contribute to the configuration, testing, and implementation of LMS and digital learning platforms.
  3. Support the implementation of digital learning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  4. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including action planning and progress tracking.
  5. Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of training data for performance monitoring.
  6. Maintain and update L&D dashboards and reports using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to support the delivery of innovative L&D solutions.
  8. Provide timely feedback to management on system-related training gaps, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  9. Assist in developing instructional materials, lesson plans, and instructor notes for digital learning programs as needed.
  10. Support the creation of training handouts and digital class materials using appropriate tools and software.
  11. Work on assigned projects related to digital learning and training system enhancements.
  12. Provide administrative support, including documentation, meeting notes, and presentation materials.
  13. Perform other duties, project assignments, and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Learning & Development, or a related field preferred.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a Training or Learning & Development capacity, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  3. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms is a plus.
  4. Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI is desirable.
  5. Familiarity with digital tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  6. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to walk, and to lift and carry PC’s and test equipment weighing up to 15lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of time.
