Traffic Management Officer (Pasir Gudang, Johor)

Responsibilities

• Manages Traffic Unit at Region Office with targeted revenue of RM40 million per region supervising 15 staff per region from TMO, Supervisor, Draftsperson, Store Keeper, Plant Operator and supervise subcontractors/sublabors.
• Monitor the placement and removal of the Traffic Control Devices as per guidelines/SOP.
• Manage and coordinate works which require lane closure for all works on main line such as routine, work order (civil and pavement), MEE etc.
• Manage client/subcontract agreement, claims, payment and subcontractor/sublabor performance.
• Ensure and maintain the effectiveness of all traffic management devices including SVs and TMVs.
• Enforce non-tolerance to SOP/Safety Procedures among the staff and subcontractor/sublabor.
• Evaluate monthly Traffic Management Safety Report (TMSR) before submitted to relevant Authorities.
• Serve as a liaison officer to Client, Local Authorities and Stakeholders.
• Monitor and control efficiencies, budget controlling and optimizing of operation expenses.
• High compliance on SOP and company safety act.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or other related field.
• Total Relevant Experience: 5 to 10 years in Construction, Traffic Management, Road Maintenance.
• Have good experience in claim preparation and basic construction knowledge/experience.
• Competent Traffic Management Officer (TMO) from CIDB.
