The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day operations that cover:
- Managing overall plant-wide Trade Compliance and Logistics Activities (Inbound & Outbound).
- Leading logistics team on a day-to-day basis, meeting operational expectations and placing cost-effective measures and agreements with freight forwarders. Providing ad-hoc Logistic Cost comparison upon request from Program Manager/TCS Manager.
- Organizing and Preparing Annual Rate Cards submission for Management Review.
- Finalizing Shipping Instructions and monitoring for compliance through Invoice vetting process (Inbound).
- Ensuring Customer Shipping Instructions are followed as well (Outbound).
- Liaising with Royal Custom Department, MITI and MIDA for License (LMW), Permit, COO, and other applications. This includes processing approval for FTA – ATIGA/MTFTA/AIFTA.
- Main advisor for Trade Compliance Queries and experienced handling LMW & FIZ area.
- Ensuring organization objectives are met through proper monitoring and audit.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
- Providing support and adequate resources to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements as well as other ISO system requirements.
- Supervising, coaching, and training logistic workforce and proposing subordinate training and job development to ensure quality and efficiency management.
- Setting departmental objectives/KPIs and reviewing and assessing ongoing performance of direct reports.
- Ensuring that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with RBA, Health, Safety, and Environment policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
- Administrative tasks of generating performance reports, warehouse activities reports, freight quotations, etc.

- Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics with a minimum of 6 years relevant working experience preferably in Warehouse and Logistics with an electronic manufacturing background or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
- Possess hands-on experience in handling Customs activities (FIZ/LMW procedures).
- Possess strong leadership with people management skills and analytical capabilities.
- A team player and able to interact effectively with all levels within the company.
- Hands-on knowledge in the local customs and government authorities in the logistics industry.
