Co-ordinate the management of data collection from the site, the transmission of information to site, and report generation.
Monitor the traffic and road conditions at the Control Centre.
Assist, advise, disseminate information, and register complaints of road users received through INFOLINE.
Call emergency support services to the site during an accident or exigencies, and implement traffic management for any non-recurrent incidents.
Key Tasks:
Ensure the TCSS area is clear at all times.
Manage the collection and transmission of information from the site, including data capture and report generation.
Inform the Executive On-Call and top management about events on the Expressway that require intervention.
Inform local authorities of major non-common events that take place on the Highway.
Assist road users with breakdown assistance and help required as received through INFOLINE.
Gather information on road and traffic conditions and convey such information to users and local radio stations using traffic control surveillance devices.
Direct enforcement and execution personnel at the site (standby, patrol, subcontractor, etc.) during any incident or disposal of non-recurrent incidents.
Communicate with emergency support services (ambulance, fire engine, local police, traffic police, rescue team, Jabatan Alam Sekitar, etc.) for quick response to accidents or life-threatening situations on the Expressway.
Operate the graphic panel or VMS display upon instruction from the immediate superior.
Operate roadside traffic control equipment and systems available.
Undertake other duties as directed by the immediate superior or Executive On-Call.
