Job Responsibilities

1. Attending to all matters pertaining to trademark and copyright, including their formalities and/or prosecution matters.
2. Attending to filings and correspondence with the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO).
3. Attending to clients’ queries and correspondences.
4. Maintaining and updating client file records.
5. Monitoring and fulfilling deadlines.
6. Attending to general administrative and departmental work.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma in any field. Law qualification or legal background is NOT required.
2. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must, in order to effectively communicate with clients.
3. Candidates must possess IP working experience of at least 1 year.
4. Good time management, meticulous, accurate and pays attention to detail.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Willingness and ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks and paperwork.
7. Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
